January 8-13, St.Mary's Cathedral Crypt, Sydney The Australian Brandenburg Orchestra, as a part of the Sydney Festival, plays Universal Woman, music and text from Hildegard of Bingen. April 3, 3pm JSBach St John Passion with the Sydney Philharmonia Baroque Orchestra April 7-10 Adelaide, performances with Adelaide Baroque and workshops with students from the Elder Conservatorium. June 3 Canberra, 4 Berry, 6 Southern Highlands, 7 Sydney, 9 Tamworth, 10 Armidale AHE 'Beethoven's Pastoral' regional NSW tour, performing Beethoven's Pastoral Symphony. August 30 Sydney, September 2 Canberra, 3 Berry, 4 Southern Highlands, 5 Newcastle AHE 'Haydn and Bell: A life in Letters' An exciting new theatrical production by John Bell and AHE brings to life a set of early 19th century fictional letters in a new production that is part drama, part performance. February 28, 7pm Sydney Conservatorium of Music Recital Hall West The newly-established HP ensemble Notos Wind Quintet performs Origins in the inaugural concert of the Warrang Concert Series at the Sydney Con, wind quintets by Cambini, Danzi and Reicha. February 26 St. James Church Sydney city The Notos Wind Quintet performs in the free St.James Lunchtime Concert, performing works by Danzi and Reicha. February 20, 7pm Sydney Conservatorium of Music Recital Hall West Champagne Classics, a free 30 minute concert performed by Historical Performance Division staff. Music by CPE Bach, Mozart, Haydn and Hoffmeister for flute and strings February 6 Canberra, 7 Berry, 8 Burradoo, 9, 11 Sydney AHE performs Emperors and Armies, including Boccherini's Las Parejas flute quintet and Haydn's Symphony no. 100 The Military arranged by Salomon for flute and strings. December 19 Australian Haydn Ensemble, together with Wooden Picket Productions filmed and recorded Tempora Mutantur, to be released in 2021. December 5 Pinchgut Opera filmed and recorded from the live concert of Messe de Minuit by Charpentier. November 1 Launch of Ayres and Graces digital release, performed by members of the Australian Brandenburg Orchestra, directed by Oliver Miller. Excerpts available now free to the public on Brandenburg One. October 25 Together with Simon Martyn-Ellis and Karina Schmitz and Phoenix Central Park our recording of Notturno by W.Matiegka (selected movements) was released, which you can find on this Behind Doors link to Youtube. July 13 Launch of Australian Brandenburg Orchestra's digital concert series Brandenburg One. Together with other Sydney-based musicians from the Brandenburg, Melissa is featured here, performing and chatting in an interview and podcast context. This platform will continue to feature a fortnightly series of newly produced performances by the Brandenburg musicians. May 20, 8.30 pm Australian Haydn Ensemble performed 'Haydn and the Hunt' in association with the Melbourne Digital Concert Hall.
